Nothing screams summer louder than a beach party (and it doesn't even matter if you're ON a beach during the party)! These super cute jello cups are the perfect treat to serve at any party, dinner, or hot summer day. Because they are absolutely the most adorable summer treat ever.
Here's what you'll need:
- 2- 3oz. boxes Jell-O, Berry Blue Flavor
- 1 pkg. Honey Teddy Grahams
- 2 boxes Rainbow Nerds
- 10 Clear Plastic Cups
- 1 pkg. Gummy Lifesavers
- 1 pkg. Airheads Extreme Sourfuls
- 5 Drink Umbrellas
- Optional: Gummy fish/Gummy Sharks
Directions:
Prepare the Jell-O according to the package directions. Pour about 3-4 tablespoons of nerds into the bottom of 5 plastic cups. Then place an empty cup into each of the cups with the nerds. The nerds resemble rocks in the ocean while under the blue gelatin cups, but you can always toss them in with the Jell-O when you're eating everything.
Put a gummy shark or fish down in each cup - it will be swimming in the jello. Pour Jell-O into each of the 5 cups, and fill within 1/2 inch from the top. Refrigerate the cups for 3 hours or until gelatin is completely set.
Once the Jell-O is firm use the Lifesavers and Airheads as floats to put on top of your blue gelatin water, and put the Teddy Grahams on the floats. (You'll need to put the teddy graham inside the lifesaver before you place it on the Jell-O). And don't forget to add an umbrella to each cup.
It's hard not to thoroughly enjoy these cute and yummy beach treats - they'll be a hit at any party or gathering (even if the gathering is just your kids in your own kitchen)!
