I love Memorial Day, and the opportunity it presents to show our appreciation for those who lived, died, and fought before us. I always visit the local cemetery with my family and my grandma sometime during Memorial Day weekend, and my favorite part is seeing all the flags on the graves of soldiers. It's an experience I'm glad I get to share with my kids, and I hope they'll continue doing it once I'm gone too.
